Paddle 2 Fitness (P2F) is an international coaching service.
We specialise in surf ski coaching for development to elite paddlers as well as coach all disciplines within surf life saving including the Coolangatta Gold.
Our mentoring / coaching clinics for age managers and coaches are utilised by several surfclub in Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Our 30 years of experiences and knowledge has taken a range of athletes (and surf clubs) to podium finishes at National and International Championships (individual & team) Coolangatta Gold and seen surf club's win surf club of the year awards.

In 2018 our head coach, Julian Norton-Smith was awarded Surf Life Saving Australia's highest coaching certificate .... 'Performance Coach' in four disciplines including surf ski, board, swim and iron. This places Julian as one of Australia's highest qualified coaches.

  • You WILL improve every session!

    All Paddle 2 Fitness sessions are coaching sessions where you the paddler will be guaranteed to get 1 on 1 time with the coach each and every session. Every training session is designed to improve your fitness, downwind skills, paddling knowledge and race tactics.

  • Create Your Our Training Routine

    Our 30 years has taught us that not everyone can train three to four times a day. So when you purchase a weekly training program from us, we send you the template so you can let us know; when you can train and what disciplines you wan to improve. Then we design a personalised program just for you and your goals.

  • Healthy and Delicious Recipes

    Paddle 2 Fitness believes in healthy eating. We are happy to assist you in a healthy eating plan where there is no calorie counting.

Successful Stories


Come For A Paddle

We are happy to proved a ski and paddle for your first session if you don't have one yet. Be it our Introduction Session, 1-1 or Squad

Be paddling is 3-5 sessions

On average, it takes us 3-5 sessions to have you paddling efficiently. We start with our Introduction Session then followed by 1 or 2 1-1 sessions then squad.

Scheduled Sessions

We offer several squad sessions in Brisbane as well as on the Gold Coast each week. In addition we have a specific DOWNWIND session every Tuesday afternoon on the Gold Coast.
